Please purchase pertinent supplies prior to surgery.
General Supplies
- Shower liner or puppy pads, and old towels for bed/car/furniture
- ABD pads, maxi pads, Depends underwear (for liposuction/tummy tuck drainage)
- Antibacterial soap or chlorhexidine soap (to be used before surgery)
- Regular gentle soap (to be used after surgery)
- Ace wraps for arm or leg liposuction (arm lipo 3”, leg lipo 6”)
- Loose clothing, robe, and easy slip-on shoes for the day of surgery
- Bone broth for protein after surgery (i.e., Kirkland organic brand)
- Compression socks for during and after surgery
Wound & Incision Care
- Hypochlorous acid skin spray (start 2 days post-op)
- Manuka honey, i.e., New Zealand Honey Co. MGO 1122 (start 2 weeks post-op)
- Telfa/non-adherent gauze
- Paper tape (gentle on skin)
- Emu Oil or “Sweet Bee Magic Organic Honey Bee Balm” (start 2–3 weeks post-op)
- Silicone scar tape (start 4 weeks post-op):
- Reusable tapes, i.e., Silagen, Biodermis
- Single-use tapes (Amazon)
Garments/Fajas & Accessories
- Snatched-Body (website or Amazon) — this brand is required for BBL/hip graft patients
- Lipo abdominal board (required for abdominal liposuction)
Meds & Supplements
- Tylenol ES 500mg
- Ibuprofen (to begin 2 weeks after surgery)
- Throat drops (for general anesthesia)
- Ginger tablets (i.e., non-drowsy Dramamine) to help with post-op nausea
- Arnica tablets AND Arnica cream (helps with bruising — use cream directly over bruises)
- Bromelain and/or fresh pineapple (helps with pain and swelling)
- Probiotics (take before starting antibiotics and continue until off antibiotics)
- OTC water pills (i.e., Diurex) or diuretic tea (i.e., dandelion root tea) — for liposuction only. Do not take until cleared by your surgeon.
- Lymphatic support drops
- Miralax (laxative) and/or Colace (stool softener) if you have a history of constipation
- Healing supplements (i.e., HealFast, etc.)
